The future of Robotics in India looks to be in safe hands. It was proven recently at the Games of the Future in Kazan when a Tamil Nadu-based team, DS Robotics, clinched the victory in a battle of tech power. In the summit showdown, their creation named “Godspeed” triumphed over “Daddy”, which was brought into the fray by a Russian team. The Indian robot put up an enthralling display of pace and agility from the beginning of the fight, doing justice to its name.
Godspeed weighs 110 kg and can sprint at a speed of 20 kmph. Having dimensions of 850x950x255, the machinery masterpiece boasts a vertical spinner as its primary weapon that can clock 8000 RPM.
Its power and strength undoubtedly stole the show at Kazan’s Games of the Future where some top-level engineers came up with stunning inventions to compete in the Robot Battle. A total of 16 teams hailing from different countries featured at the event.
In the finale, Godspeed pulled off a roaring start as it topped the Russian “Daddy” and sent it to the corner. The early attack helped the made-in-India Robot take charge of the battle. It continued to slam Daddy, which was stuck in the corner.
