Jack Warner’s current mission in life seems to be to show the world how to dig a hole for yourself.
Just days after the tainted former FIFA official hit back at his critics by citing an article from satire website The Onion, he has now lashed out at Last Week Tonight presenter John Oliver in a video which shares background music similar to another video titled ‘Epic and Dramatic Trailer Music’.
Warner was caught up in the recent scandal which hit FIFA and also went to jail. However, since getting out of incarceration citing exhaustion, he has appeared dancing at a political rally and defending himself against allegations in comic manner.
Add to that the fact that he called Oliver — who has hammered FIFA in his HBO show — a ‘comedian fool’.
Warner slammed HBO for allowing a “foreigner (Oliver is British) to come into this country to embarrass its citizens, to embarrass its people, to be critical of the way we speak, to be critical of the way we look, to be critical of our culture.”
His monologue veered towards hate speech as he declared “we have to stand united” against outsiders.
However, and since most people don’t take Warner seriously, his video has become more popular for stealing music from another video. The creator of the video has since tweeted: “This a***ole stole my music without permission.”
Warner wants to make news for the right reasons — but the poor guy seems to always fail.
Which brings us to ask: who’s the comedian fool here? Warner or Oliver?
