[caption id=“attachment_1148203” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Is another big CSK win on the cards? BCCI[/caption] T&T have beaten CSK by eight wickets to qualify for the semi-finals. T&T 119-2 in 15.1 overs: T&T take three easy singles since that Simmons wicket, and that does it for them. They also qualify for the semi-finals in the process. Big win, this. Wicket! T&T 116-2 after 14.2 overs - Simmons c Sharma b Ashwin 63 (41b, 5x4, 4x6): Just couldn’t see it out, could he? Simmons is surely Man of the Match with his performances in the field, with the ball and this innings, but it would have been much sweeter if he hadn’t hit one straight to long-on. T&T 79-1 after 10.1 overs - Simmons c Sharma b Ashwin 63 (41b, 5x4, 4x6): Lewis lbw b Raina 38 (35b, 6x4, 0x6): Unlikely wicket-taker in Raina, but CSK have finally got their man. Lewis plays across, targeting the on-side and misses. That was an easy decision for Billy Bowden. T&T 57-0 after eight overs: Easy sailing for Simmons and Lewis and it’s fair to believe that the CSK bowlers have lost their motivation to do any more. The two batsmen have been solid, patient and have risked hitting only the bad balls. Even Ravindra Jadeja has no answer to Lewis’ hitting — the left-hander taking him to the cleaners in the sixth over with consecutive fours. T&T 34-0 after five overs: Four four four four! The boundaries are flowing for the team from West Indies. Lewis the tormentor in chief, hitting Morkel all over the park for three fours in the fourth over. These guys have got a great start in chasing a small total. T&T 12-0 after two overs: No early jitters for T&T as of now and despite a fabulous first over from Ashwin where he almost got two wickets. Both batsmen have got a feel of the pitch and have hit a four each. T&T need 119 runs to win Wickets! CSK 118 all out in 19.4 overs Holder c Simmons b Emrit 0 (1b, 0x4, 0x6) Ashwin run out 9 (5b, 0x4, 1x6) When only Raina, Dhoni and Vijay manage to get runs in double figures, then it has to be an all-round performance from the bowling team. T&T capitalised on the mid-innings slump and finished off CSK for a meager total. The last wicket, another run-out, was quite comical as Ashwin ran towards the wicket-keeper’s end without his bat — which was lost in a tangle with the bowler. Wicket! CSK 116-8 after 19 oivers - Badrinath run out 3 (5b, 0x4, 0x6): Oh dear another run-out and this is one of those embarrassing mix-ups. Ashwin doesn’t get enough on the on-drive and Badrinath is miles away as the keeper clicks off the bails. Wicket! CSK 106-7 after 18.1 overs - Morkel b Rampaul 4 (16b, 0x4, 0x6): Brilliant stuff from T&T, isn’t it? All their bowlers have done well and their fielding has been very sharp. Morkel was under pressure and tries an odd shot with zero footwork before the ball finds the stumps. Wicket! CSK 102-6 after 16.5 overs - Dhoni c Simmons b Emrit 25 (25b, 2x4, 0x6): Simmons is everywhere! He’s taking wickets and now he’s taking catches. Dhoni was having trouble with the changing pace and that’s what makes his timing awry… he wants to hit this one for maximum but doesn’t get enough on it. Wicket! CSK 88-5 after 13.4 overs - Jadeja run out 3 (6b, 0x4, 0x6): Jadeja’s miserable run in the tournament continues as he can’t reach the crease before the direct hit gets to the stumps. Wicket! CSK 84-4 after 12.2 overs - Bravo c Ramdin b Emrit 2 (4b, 0x4, 0x6): Outside edge and tata! Bravo’s walking as his attempted drive is slightly late and the leg cutter does him in. Wicket! CSK 78-3 after 11 overs - Raina c Rampaul b Simmons 38 (29b, 3x4, 1x6): Tactical set-up works for T&T. They get a short fine-leg in place and Simmons bowls in the perfect area around the pads. Raina goes for it and finds the fielder. Perfect set-up and the lefty fell for it. Wicket! CSK 66-2 after nine overs - Vijay b Simmons 27 (24b, 4x4, 0x6): Kattaaak! That’s the sound of the ball crashing into Vijay’s stumps and Simmons’ golden arm does the trick again — breaking a partnership worth 55 runs. In comes Dhoni. CSK 62-1 after eight overs: Emrit should know not to bowl to Raina like that — it’s outside off-stump and too full. Raina swats it away for four more. He’s looking good on 31 from 23 balls now. CSK 49-1 after six overs: Raina is well and truly settled now — and confirms that by dancing down the track to smack a six over the bowler’s head. In the previous over, Vijay shuffles back and gets four with a perfectly timed flick of the wrist. CSK 25-1 after four overs: Quality shot from Murali Vijay as he picks up the length early on and lashes it past covers for four. Raina’s got off to a healthy start — no boundaries but he has 10 in nine balls already. CSK 7-1 after 1.4 overs - Hussey b Rampaul 1 (2b, 0x4, 0x6): Oh who doesn’t love a stump doing cartwheels! Rampaul with a gem of a delivery that cracks at Hussey’s stumps. Classic, that. T&T have won the toss and will bowl first Chennai Super Kings squad (form): MS Dhoni, R Ashwin, S Badrinath, D Bravo, F du Plessis, J Holder, M Hussey, Imtiaz Ahmed, R Jadeja, J Morkel, C Morris, S Raina, W Saha, M Sharma, M Vijay Trinidad & Tobago squad (from): D Ramdin, S Badree, A Barath, D Bravo, R Emrit, S Gabriel, S Ganga, E Lewis, J Mohammed, S Narine, K Ottley, N Pooran, R Rampaul, L Simmons, N Stewart
