New Delhi: Tyre maker Ceat has inked a three year bat endorsement deal with cricketer Rohit Sharma. Sharma, who is the first player to score two double- centuries in the history ODIs, will now be seen playing with a bat displaying Ceat insignia in all formats of the game, the company said in a statement. BCCI[/caption] “We are proud to announce Rohit Sharma as the latest Indian cricketer to join Ceat’s family. Rohit is not only an extremely talented batsman, but also a great leader and an inspiration to young aspiring cricketers,” Managing Director Ceat Ltd, Anant Goenka said. The company believes that Sharma’s dynamic personality combined with his performance and dependability on the field represents the values that Ceat believes in, he added. “Partnering with Ceat, who’ve played a significant role in boosting cricket in our country, is indeed an honour. I look forward to playing a long innings with Ceat,” Sharma said. Recently, Ceat had announced its tie-up with Suresh Raina for the bat association. Earlier this year, It also partnered with Indian Premier League (IPL) for the strategic time out segment and brought former Australian international cricket legend Brett Lee on board as their digital brand ambassador for the Ceat Cricket Ratings.
