Australian Olympic Committee secretary general Fiona de Jong said Australia has three cities capable of hosting an Olympics, but the more populated Sydney (2000) and Melbourne (1956) have already had their turns. Officials from Budapest, Hungary and Busan and Incheon in South Korea have shown an interest in hosting the 2028 Games. A decision for 2028 isn’t expected to be made until 2021 under the usual IOC protocol of choosing venues seven years in advance. AP
