BCCI confirms itinerary for India's three Tests in Sri Lanka in August-September

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed today the schedule of India’s tour to Sri Lanka in August-September 2015. AP[/caption] The tour will start with a three-day warm-up game against Sri Lanka Chairman’s XI, followed by three Test matches. The Test matches will be played at Galle, Tamil Union Oval, and SSC Colombo. The first Test will be played from 12-16 August, the second from 20-24 August and the last Test will be played 28 August to 1 September. The whole tour is nearly a month long — with India reaching Colombo on 3 August and returning home on 2 September. The warm-up game is scheduled to begin on August 6 at R Premadasa International Stadium in Colombo. The Test matches will be played at Galle (August 12-16), Colombo Oval (August 20-24) and SSC Colombo (August 28-September 1). The team will return on September 2.
