Batman and F1 have a link. Here's what...

It won't quite be Batman changing his wheels. The caped crusader still loves his Batmobile,  but has joined forces with Formula One team Lotus.

Jokes aside, this Autosport report says that the team's cars as well as driver helmets and overalls will feature logos from the latest Batman film— The Dark Knight Rises.

The racing team said that the movie's famed Tumbler vehicle will also be on display during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Team boss Eric Boullier light-heartedly spoke about the deal: "This season we have been the dark horses in the championship fight, so this partnership with The Dark Knight Rises is a fantastic match."

However, he was quite happy with the collaboration: "Our car, the E20, looks superb with the Batman branding and we are looking forward to seeing the reaction of our numerous fans. We are certainly hoping for an epic conclusion for The Dark Knight Rises E20 in the grand prix.

Epic conclusion or not, it certainly gives fans something different to look forward to during the Silverstone race.

The last such collaboration we remember was G.One on a Force India car and it didn't really work wonders.
