Cricketer AB de Villiers and his wife Danielle welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Wednesday.

Cricketer AB de Villiers and his wife Danielle welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Wednesday. The child is called AB as well, according to a tweet by Cricket South Africa.
"We all feel very blessed and grateful. Mother and son are both doing well," de Villiers was quoted as saying.
The South Africa captain is currently on paternity leave, even as South Africa are on tour playing a crucial Test match against Bangladesh. In the photographs doing the rounds online, the family of three can be seen in the hospital and the new parents look delighted with AB holding his son.
