The India men’s trap team comprising of Prithviraj Tondaiman, Zoravar Singh Sandhu and Kynan Darius Chenai clinched gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou on Sunday. The trio finished with a score of 361 points. This was India’s seventh gold medal in shooting and 11th gold overall in the Asian Games in Hangzhou. With the gold, India also clinched it’s 21st medal in shooting altogether. With the score of 361 points, India also broke an Asian Games record. India went past Kuwait’s record in the same category. Kuwait had secured gold medal in the 1994 Asian Games in Hiroshima in the men’s trap event with a score of 357. India have so far won 41 medals in the 2023 Asian Games so far, with 11 gold, 16 silver and 14 bronze
