Asian Games 2023: India clinch shooting gold in women's 25m pistol team event

India’s first gold medal on official Day 4 of the Asian Games 2023 came in the women’s 25m pistol team event as shooters Esha Singh, Manu Bhaker, and Rhythm Sangwan combined to register a total score of 1759 in the event. The silver was won by China who registered a total score of 1756 while South Korea clinched the bronze with 1742. India at Asain Games 2023: Medals tally Earlier in the day, India won their 15th medal of Asian Games 2023 in the 50m rifle 3 positions women’s team event through Ashi Chouksey, Manini Kaushik and Sift Kaur Samra. The trio came second in the contest with a total score of 1764 while China won the gold with 1773. South Korea clinched the bronze with a score of 1756. India at Asain Games 2023: Medal winners   This is India’s 16th medal overall at the Asian Games 2023 and the fourth gold. The other gold medals have been won by the women’s cricket team, equestrian dressage team, and 10m air rifle men’s team. This is also India’s seventh medal in shooting at Asian Games 2023. Apart from the two gold medals, the 10m air rifle women’s team and 50m rifle 3 positions women’s team won silver medals, while Ramita Jindal won bronze in 10m air rifle women’s individual event, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar captured bronze in the men’s event and 25m rapid fire pistol men’s team also won a bronze.
