Preeti Pawar and Lovlina Borgohain assured India of medals in boxing. In women’s golf, Aditi Ashok looks to be in a great position for a gold with the team set to bag a medal as well. India will add at least one more medal to their tally with gold medal match in squash between India and Pakistan. In things to watch out for, there is India vs Pakistan in hockey and India vs South Korea in men’s team badminton. On Day 6, India had an impressive day with eight medals swelling up the country’s kitty to 33 medals. Women’s 10m Air Pistol Team, Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team, Esha Singh, Palak Gulia, Aishwary Pratap Singh increased the tally from shooting. India also bagged a silver medal in men’s doubles tennis and bronze in women’s team squash events. Kiran Baliyan earned the first medal in athletics.
