Asian Games 2023 Day 3 Live: On Day 2, India won its first gold medal and then came a second not long after. First, the 10m Air Rifle Team won the yellow metal in the morning session. They also registered a world record in the process. In the afternoon, the women’s cricket team won its first-ever medal in a multi-sport event after beating Sri Lanka in the final. Two rowing teams - in Men’s Four and Quadruple Sculls - also added to India’s tally with bronze medals each. Additionally, Aishwary Pratap Singh and the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol team added more medals to India’s success story in shooting. Shooters will once again be primary focus on Day 3 with medal chances in 25m pistol and 10m air rifle mixed team event. In the early morning activity, India face Singapore in men’s hockey which shouldn’t be a challenge. An India vs Pakistan clash, albeit without anything but pride riding on it, will take place at the Asian Games in volleyball.
