Anush Agarwalla on Thursday clinched bronze medal in equestrian at the individual dressage event during the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou. Anush Agarwalla, riding on his horse Etro, finished the race with a score of 73.030. Qabil Ambak of Malaysia clinched gold with a score of 75.780, wile Hong Kong’s Jacqueline Siu won silver with a score of 73.450. The other Indian in fray, Hriday Vipul Chheda, who topped the qualifying on Wednesday, was eliminated and did not feature in the medal competition. This is Agarwalla’s second medal of the 2023 Asian Games. Earlier, Agarwalla had teamed up with Chheda, Divyakriti Singh and Sudipti Hajela to win the dressage team gold after 41 years.
