His career-best 91 against England at Mohali on October 20, 2011 was also as an opener. - Rahane has recorded two fifty-plus innings in an ODI series for the first time. He has posted three fifties in five innings under Virat Kohli`s captaincy. - Rahane and Dhawan were associated in a stand of 121 - the first century partnership for any wicket against Afghanistan at the Asia Cup.
