Broad didn’t return to the field when Australia started its second innings, and television images showed him limping out of the venue. The team said he had been taken to the hospital for scans. There was no confirmation which foot has been injured. The 27-year-old Broad has been the best bowler on an outplayed England team so far in the series, taking 14 wickets. Associated Press
