Arjun Tendulkar to make debut in Kanga League

Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun will make his debut in the restructured Kanga League starting Sunday, according to the Indian Express. The newspaper quoted a Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) source as saying that 13-year-old Arjun “will be playing his first Kanga League where he will be competing with several under-17 and under-19 boys”. Arjun will represent Young Parsee Cricket Club in Division G of the Kanga League. The league has been renamed the Summer Vacation Shield. AFP[/caption] However, he will not be the youngest cricketer in the league. Eight year old Mushir Khan, who is set to make his debut in the G division too, for Sportsfield Cricket Club will be the youngest in the league.
