His role was switched in a reshuffle after the election of a new board chairman. Campbell was instrumental in setting up Zimbabwe’s tour of Pakistan in May, the first by a test-playing nation to Pakistan in six years. He was this year accused of racist selection policies by current player Prosper Utseya, with an investigation into the allegations yet to be concluded. Campbell played 60 tests and 188 one-day internationals and was previously Zimbabwe’s head selector. AP
