After Manchester United’s loss to Chelsea, Twitter adds insult to Jose Mourinho and Co’s injury

Manchester United had to endure a night of humiliation after Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge was marred by a 4-0 mauling at the hands of Chelsea...and Twitter!

'Twas a night of memes and jokes at the expense of one of the most decorated clubs in England. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Jose Mourinho, no one was not spared. Here are some of the funniest barbs that Twitter had to offer last night.

It all started with Eidur Gudjohnsen who clearly won the night with this epic tweet

Was Manchester United missing its German machine? Lukas Podolski certainly seemed to think so.

Another person United's midfield is missing is Paul Pogba, despite being on the field.

The French midfielder's price tag and lack of performance so far has made him the butt of jokes across social media. And his showing against Chelsea only increased the trolling.

Mourinho's love for all things Guardiola was not amiss in the Manchester United-Chelsea game. Clearly both behemoths of football win and lose together!

A major talking point from last night were the words Jose Mourinho had for Antonio Conte after the match ended.

All said and done, its time for Manchester United fans to go in hiding!
