After documentary, now feature film on Senna's life

After the success of the documentary ‘Senna’ (2010), Ayrton Senna’s life story could now be turned into a feature film, said a report on Autosport.com . 300 star Rodrigo Santoro revealed to entertainment website Collider  that talks are underway with producers regarding the idea about making a film on the three-time F1 champion. Reuters”] [/caption] Even though plans were pretty much in place for the making of the film, Santoro said that the plan would proceed only with the backing of Senna’s family. “He’s a hero. In Brazil, he’s… ‘huge’ wouldn’t describe it. He’s a hero, like a true hero,” explained Santoro. “It’s a very delicate matter; I’ve been very careful how we’re going to approach that. “If we get this done, if we really move forward with this project, it will be with the family, with his family, it will all be done in a very, very careful and respectful way. So yeah that might be possible in the future. Right now, we’re still in conversations, but it is moving.” Even though Santoro was keen to play down talks that the movie was surely going to be produced, he quipped that it would be an honour to play the Brazilian racer’s role. “If this whole thing goes forward it will be amazing,” he said. “Right now we have nothing official.
