India officially reached the 100-medal mark at the Asain Games 2023 Saturday as the women's kabaddi team clinched gold . The Indian women’s kabaddi team defeated Chinese Taipei 26-25 in the gold medal match. Meanwhile, India will face Afghanistan in the men’s cricket gold medal match on Saturday, and Indian men and the Islamic Republic of Iran will lock horns in the kabaddi final. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will face Korea’s Choi Sol Gyu and Kim Won Ho in the men’s doubles badminton final. India currently are in fourth place in the medal tally with a total of 100 medals. This is the first time India have touched the three-figure mark at Asian Games with their previous best being 70 in 2018.
