    Explained: Vikram-I, the country’s first private rocket unveiled by PM Modi

    PM Modi inaugurated Skyroot’s Infinity Campus in Hyderabad and unveiled Vikram-I, India's first private orbital rocket. Vikram-I, built by Skyroot, can place payloads of around 300 kg in low earth orbit and features 3D-printed liquid engines. Skyroot aims to launch Vikram-I later this year after completing various stages of testing across India.
