US forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in a complex operation called 'Operation Absolute Resolve,' involving months of CIA surveillance and elite military planning. Over 150 US aircraft and elite troops stormed Maduro's fortified residence in Caracas, extracting him and his wife without US casualties. Maduro was transported to the US and is set to face drug and weapon charges in a Manhattan federal court next week.
