US is building massive supercomputers to tackle problems — from nuclear energy to cancer treatments

The Trump administration and AMD are building two supercomputers, Lux and Discovery, to boost research in nuclear power, cancer treatments, and national security. Lux will be ready in six months, Discovery by 2029, aiming to speed up scientific advancements.
