Uber launches fully driverless robotaxi rides in Abu Dhabi with China’s WeRide

Uber launched driverless robotaxis in Abu Dhabi with WeRide, marking the first city outside the U.S. to host fully driverless operations on its platform. Passengers booking UberX or Uber Comfort may get a WeRide robotaxi. Expansion beyond Abu Dhabi's core is planned by year-end.
