Wildfires rage into third day in southern Chile as death toll continues to rise

Wildfires in southern Chile have killed at least 19 people, destroyed about 1,000 homes, and devastated entire towns. Fueled by heat and strong winds, the fires remain active despite efforts by over 3,500 firefighters and soldiers. Disaster areas have been declared.
