American proposal for ceasefire ‘worst’ so far, says Sudan’s army chief

Sudanese army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan rejected a US-led ceasefire proposal, accusing the US envoy of bias towards the RSF. Al-Burhan insists on RSF's withdrawal for peace. The ongoing civil war has led to severe humanitarian crises and fears of renewed genocide in Darfur.
