Saudi Arabia deports 10,000 illegal residents in week-long crackdown

Saudi Arabia arrested 18,836 illegal residents and deported over 10,000 in early January during a crackdown on residency, labor, and border law violations. Authorities also detained 1,741 for illegal entry and warned severe penalties for those aiding violators.
