Costly moves? Did Maduro’s dances trigger Trump to attack Venezuela?
US forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife in a military operation ordered by Donald Trump, reportedly triggered by Maduro's public dancing and defiance. Maduro appeared in a Manhattan court, pleading not guilty to federal drug trafficking charges, following his extradition to the US. Reports suggest Trump also withheld support from Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado due to her acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize, which he coveted.
