India participated as an observer in the inaugural meeting of Trump's Board of Peace on Gaza, represented by Namgya Choden Khampa, Chargé d’Affaires at the Indian Embassy in Washington, DC. The Board of Peace aims to oversee the Gaza ceasefire, support reconstruction, and assist governance. Namgya Khampa is a senior Indian diplomat with extensive experience, including roles in the US, Kenya, China, Nepal, and the UN.
