Love for luxury and scandals… The life of South Korea’s former first lady Kim Keon Hee

Former South Korean First Lady Kim Keon Hee sentenced to 20 months in prison for accepting luxury bribes from the Unification Church in exchange for government favors. Kim was found guilty of corruption but acquitted of stock manipulation and campaign finance violations. Her husband, ex-President Yoon Suk Yeol, is also serving prison time for his role in the 2024 martial law crisis.
