Jaishankar pushes for early India-EU FTA to ‘stabilise global economy, strengthen democratic forces’

India and the EU aim to finalize a free trade agreement by December. The FTA is expected to enhance bilateral trade, which was USD 135 billion in 2023-24. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar emphasized the FTA's potential to stabilize the global economy and strengthen democratic forces.
