Indian Army and Air Force to order 16 indigenous drone detection and interdiction systems capable of hitting drones at 2 kms with laser. DRDO's Integrated Drone Detection and Interdiction System (Mark 2) uses a 10 Kilowatt laser beam, doubling the engagement distance from 1 km to 2 kms. India showcased its capability to shoot down aircraft, missiles, and swarm drones using a 30-kilowatt laser-based weapon system.
