India to launch voter roll clean-up drive by month-end, EC to replicate Bihar model in 5 key states

The Election Commission of India will begin a nationwide Summary Intensive Revision of electoral rolls by month-end, starting within three months. The first phase includes West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Puducherry, and Kerala, considering upcoming elections, weather, and voter record verification.
