    India, Jordan issue joint statement after PM Modi's visit, celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jordan on December 15-16, 2025, marking 75 years of diplomatic relations and holding high-level talks with King Abdullah II to enhance cooperation in multiple sectors. India and Jordan agreed to boost collaboration in trade, technology, education, healthcare, agriculture, water management, renewable energy, and cultural exchanges, signing several agreements and MoUs. Both leaders emphasized strengthening connectivity, multilateral cooperation, and sustainable development, with Jordan expressing interest in joining India's global initiatives like the International Solar Alliance.
