IMF, Pakistan reach staff-level deal on $1.2 billion tranche of loan

The IMF agreed to provide Pakistan $1.2 billion after board approval. Pakistan will get $1 billion from the Extended Fund Facility and $200 million from the Resilience and Sustainability Facility, totaling $3.3 billion. The IMF commended Pakistan's economic recovery and stability.
