How China's rare earths choke changed America's trade deals

The US has secured trade agreements with Thailand and Malaysia to access critical minerals and reduce dependence on China. Malaysia agreed not to impose export bans or quotas on rare earth elements bound for the US. Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Cambodia will remove tariff barriers and expand market access for US goods.
