    A 52-year-old woman from Kolkata was diagnosed with a rare hydatid cyst in her heart's interventricular septum after months of unexplained symptoms. Hydatid cysts in the heart are extremely rare, occurring in only 0.5 to 3 percent of cases worldwide, and are often misdiagnosed due to their vague symptoms. Successful surgical removal of the cyst required meticulous planning and execution to avoid fatal complications, leading to the patient's recovery.
