Silent heart parasite nearly killed her: Why cardiac hydatid disease remains a diagnostic blind spot
A 52-year-old woman from Kolkata was diagnosed with a rare hydatid cyst in her heart's interventricular septum after months of unexplained symptoms. Successful surgical removal of the cyst required meticulous planning and execution to avoid fatal complications, leading to the patient's recovery.
