Hamas refuses to lay down arms as Netanyahu & Trump gear up for talks

Israeli PM Netanyahu will meet US President Trump at Mar-a-Lago to discuss advancing the Gaza truce and urging a tougher US stance on Iran. Talks will focus on phase two of the Gaza agreement, including disarming Hamas and demilitarising Gaza, amid resistance from Hamas. Trump aims to announce a Palestinian technocratic government for Gaza and an international stabilisation force as early as January.
