Ex-Bangladesh minister accuses 'Yunus–Clinton' link, USAID of role in Sheikh Hasina ouster
Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, a former minister, alleges the Clinton family and USAID were behind the 2024 uprising that ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina. Chowdhury claims USAID and Western-backed NGOs ran campaigns against Hasina's government since 2018, linking the uprising to a nexus between Yunus and the Clintons. USAID was dissolved in July 2024, with its functions shifted to the US State Department.
