    Dharmendra, widely adored as Bollywood’s “everyman” or “aam aadmi” superstar, found his legacy complicated by the very “He‑Man” persona that elevated him. While his rugged, action-hero image captured the popular imagination, it also boxed him into a narrow stereotype.
