China used India–Pakistan conflict to test and promote its weapons, says US commission report

China used the India-Pakistan conflict in May to test its modern weapons systems, including the HQ-9 air defence system and J-10 fighter jets. Following the conflict, China offered Pakistan advanced military equipment, including J-35 fighter jets and ballistic missile defence systems. China allegedly ran a disinformation campaign against the French Rafale fighter jet to promote its own J-35s.
