Canada tones down accusations linking India to violent crimes ahead of Carney's visit

Canadian PM Mark Carney will visit India from Feb 26 to Mar 7, meeting business leaders in Mumbai and holding talks with PM Modi in New Delhi to boost economic and strategic ties. Talks will focus on clean energy, AI, defence, advanced tech, and accelerating the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. Canada clarified it no longer links India to violent crimes in Canada, aiming to stabilise relations and enhance cooperation.
