Bangladesh: Police clash with protesters at Parliament over July Charter signing

Bangladesh police used teargas, batons, and stun grenades to disperse protesters near the National Parliament. Protesters demanded state recognition and legal protection for those injured during the 2024 uprising. The interim government led by Muhammad Yunus invited political parties to sign the new July National Charter.
