    The National Citizen Party (NCP) has formed an alliance with Amar Bangladesh (AB) and Rashtra Songskar Andolon, called the 'Gonotantrik Sangskar Jote', ahead of Bangladesh's February election. The alliance aims for political transformation and economic liberation, marking a shift from the long-dominant Begum–Hasina political paradigm. The weakening of major parties has allowed far-right groups like Jamaat-e-Islami to expand their influence in Bangladesh's political landscape.
