Apple says iPhone and iPad cleared for Nato classified information, but here's the catch

Apple's iPhone and iPad, running iOS 26 or iPadOS 26, are now the first consumer devices cleared to handle NATO Restricted-level classified data, following German government testing. Only devices with the latest software are certified for this security standard.
