The sixth season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) kicked off on 7th October with a total of 12 teams – Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi KC, Gujarat Fortunegiants, Haryana Steelers, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Puneri Paltan, Tamil Thalaivas, Telugu Titans, U Mumba and UP Yoddha fighting for the title. This edition of the PKL will last for 13 weeks. For the first time in the history of the PKL, the playoffs will be held in Kochi while the final will be held in Mumbai on 5 January 2019.
