Vice-Presidential Election 2017: Venkaiah Naidu's nomination 'a matter of pride', says Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday congratulated Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu for being chosen as the NDA vice-presidential candidate . “The decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP parliamentary board is a matter of pride for all sections of the society,” Adityanath said in a statement. He said that Naidu has had a long experience in public life and has ably discharged his duties both in the organisation and government. Naidu, 68, was chosen at a BJP Parliamentary board meeting attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior party leaders in New Delhi on Monday.
