Allahabad: Janata Dal (United) President Sharad Yadav on Monday said a third front comprising regional outfits was bound to emerge after the Lok Sabha elections next year. He, however, ruled out the possibility of a pre-poll formation saying it would lead to squabbles over the issue of seat-sharing. [caption id=“attachment_1223495” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]

Yadav, whose party had pulled out of the NDA earlier this year, said “we had called the bluff of the BJP at a recent meeting where representatives of 14 political outfits shared the stage.” “They are trying to spread rumours that after election results are out parties like the AIADMK, the Biju Janata Dal and the AGP will be more than happy to join the NDA. “The presence of representatives of these very parties at the 30 October meeting has put a big question mark over the BJP’s claims,” he said.
