Hyderabad: Amid reports that the Congress leadership is likely to take a decision on Telangana issue soon, ministers from Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh today decided to visit Delhi on 26 July to pursue their demand to keep Andhra Pradesh “united”. The ministers held a meeting here this evening and decided to go to the national capital on 26 July. [caption id=“attachment_984085” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Image for representation only. AFP[/caption] Andhra Pradesh Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath told reporters that they would consult Union ministers and MPs from the region during their visit to Delhi. He said they would also urge Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana and Deputy Chief Minister C Damodar Rajanarasimha to convey their concerns to the Congress leadership. Later, they met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy over the issue. The Congress Core Group had discussed the contentious Telangana issue earlier this month and the party said the Congress Working Committee would take a final view. Meanwhile, the ‘Samaikyandhra’ (united Andhra Pradesh) Students’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) in Visakhapatnam has decided to undertake mass fasts in support of their cause. PTI
