Slamming Sushil Kumar Modi and other BJP legislators, Tejaswi said they should not have taken those things in the
first place to avoid a situation where they had to return them.

Chiding the BJP lawmakers of playing politics over gifts, Yadav said Sushil Kumar Modi and others had no qualms in accepting gifts when they were in power for which they owed an explanation to the people.

"The BJP legislators, including (Sushil Kumar) Modi, had received gifts during the erstwhile RJD rule too. They should return those gifts as well and those received during the NDA regime over eight years," Rabri Devi told reporters in the legislative council precincts.
